Over the last month I made several visits to a nearby riverside trail that through a corridor of forest behind a few acres of farmland. The forest was lush and the trail quiet. A very pleasant place to spend time and I expect to return often to see how this environment changes season to season.

I also spent a few lovely evenings taking photos at local beaches in Prince and Queen's county, PEI. My goal was to capture the beautiful sunsets while highlighting the not-so-subtle signs of erosion occurring all along the coastline.

This gallery includes 10 of my favourite photos from these trips and a new rock abstract based on a photo I took a few years ago on a trip to Peggy's Cove.
